My babies are sick. Of course they are! We haven't planned anything with anyone all summer long and finally the week that we do, they get sick the day before their friend is supposed to sleep over. I told them earlier today that they would be having a friend spend the night tomorrow night and they have been so excited about it. Karleigh has had a runny nose for a couple days and Shea just got one yesterday. Now they both have really bad coughs and Shealyn is totally loosing her voice. She walked up to me a little while ago and said "Mommy, will you call our friend and ask her if she can spend the night another night? I really don't feel good." It's pitiful when they don't even feel well enough to have a friend over. :( I'm going to talk to the mom in the morning to most likely cancel. I want to see how the girls do tonight though, if Shea sounds better and their cough isn't as bad, then maybe. But their friends mom may not feel comfortable having her over, especially when she has two other children at home that may catch something. Pray for them please, I know I will be. I hope and pray that this all passes quickly.
